The Sinn 856 Collection is a family of pilot’s watches that are designed to be easy and clear to read. These instrument watches have a consistently functional design that honours the tradition of Sinn navigation cockpit clocks. • The Sinn 856 watch is an instrument watch that is designed to be reminiscent of the traditional Sinn navigation cockpit clock. 
• Each watch uses Ar-Dehumidifying Technology to enhance the functional reliability of the timepiece and ensure less fogging. 
• All of the watches have a Magnetic Field Protection of up to 80,000 A/m. 
• The watches all have sapphire glass to protect the dial. The glass has anti-reflective treatment on both sides. 
• The 856 watches are all water and pressure-resistant to 20 bar and meet the technical requirements for waterproofness as set out in standard DIN 8310. This is aided by the screwable crown and nickel-free screw-fastened case back. The watches are also resistant to low pressure. 
• The watches in this collection are all powered by an SW 300-1 self-winding mechanism. It uses 25 bearing jewels and 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour to power the watch. The movement features a seconds stop function and is anti-magnetic as per DIN 8309.

The same procedure in the Southern hemisphere will show South. 
• The dial features large Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12 for optimal readability. 
• A date aperture can be found at 4 o’clock. 
• The numerals, indices and hour and minute hands are coated with luminescent colour.
