- The Sinn 856 watch is an instrument watch that is designed to be reminiscent of the traditional Sinn navigation cockpit clock.Â
- Each watch uses Ar-Dehumidifying Technology to enhance the functional reliability of the timepiece and ensure less fogging.Â
- All of the watches have a Magnetic Field Protection of up to 80,000 A/m.Â
- The watches all have sapphire glass to protect the dial. The glass has anti-reflective treatment on both sides.Â
- The 856 watches are all water and pressure-resistant to 20 bar and meet the technical requirements for waterproofness as set out in standard DIN 8310. This is aided by the screwable crown and nickel-free screw-fastened case back. The watches are also resistant to low pressure.Â
- The watches in this collection are all powered by an SW 300-1 self-winding mechanism. It uses 25 bearing jewels and 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour to power the watch. The movement features a seconds stop function and is anti-magnetic as per DIN 8309.Â
- The watches have a case diameter of 40mm, a band lug width of 20mm, and a case thickness of 11mm. They each weigh 70 grams without a strap.Â

- This model features a case made of black PVD coated stainless steel that has been treated with TEGIMENT Technology.Â
- The matte black dial exhibits a second time zone on a 24-hour basis. This hand can be used to help find compass directions. In the Northern hemisphere, the watch should be held horizontally with the 12-hour hand pointing towards the sun. The 24-hour hand will then be pointing north. The same procedure in the Southern hemisphere will show South.Â
- The dial features large Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12 for optimal readability.Â
- A date aperture can be found at 4 o’clock.Â
- The numerals, indices and hour and minute hands are coated with luminescent colour.Â
- This model is finished with a black PVD coated stainless steel two-link bracelet that has been treated with TEGIMENT Technology.
